LITIGATION

Our experience has been formed through litigation at the arbitration court, principally related to construction, both public and private infrastructure (i.e. housing) and mainly with public construction concessions.  Specifically, we are highly experienced in cases of arbitration for partnerships and contract conflicts.

On civil litigation, we are focused on legal counseling for areas related to real estate, construction, debt collection, administrative sanctions, public purchases, contractual obligations and indemnity for damages, expropriations and cases of insolvency proceedings.

Further, we have actively participated in labor-related matters, mainly defending companies’ rights and, in some cases, representing the workers. This gives us a full scope of the modern labor litigations system.

We also provide administrative procedure assistance to our clients preparing for arbitration in ordinary or special proceedings, allowing us to prepare strategies during the early stages of the case focused on fulfilling and implementing their final objectives.

Over the years, we have reached many achievements in the Supreme Court of Justice, which allows us to be a viable alternative in the defense on previously initiated confrontations and constitutional legal actions.

ADMINISTRATION

Our performance in areas such as infrastructure and contracting goods and services with public entities, has given us a vast knowledge of administrative law and applicable procedures.

CIVIL

Correa & Silva has given legal advice to both companies and individuals on civil law, specifically on the preparation of reports on inheritance, which entail legal assistance, document presentation, estate partitions, shares and title studies and elaboration of contracts.

COMMERCE

Commercial legal advising is another area of expertise; we have ample experience and are constantly providing advice on corporate law from its creation, to restructuring and finances, and the company closing. In general, we deal with every aspect of commercial relations from a legal point of view.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Our recent participation in the development of public infrastructure in our country makes us leaders in infrastructure advice for construction of public roads, jails, hospitals, ports and airports, sports and educational facilities, public work concessions, and direct contracts with the state and its entities.

We are also involved in the development of private infrastructure projects, particularly in energy supply, which entails participation in the promotion, design, financial execution and functioning of Eolic parks and Solar Energy as well as Energy generator facilities.

ENVIRONMENTAL LAW

Environmental Law is a relatively new area and increasingly present in many fields of the Law practice. In Correa & Silva we accompany our clients in the complete cycle of each project, so that they can be succesfully developed in compliance with the law.

In this field we provide permanent legal corporate advice on any matters and related needs, and occasionally weprovide services to the workers and/or unions.

Our services include preparation of work contracts, both individual and collective, implementation of procedures and rulings, interacting with authorities and representing your company  in any kind of conflict stemming from labor relations.  Our legal advice is given taking into consideration company needs, internal organization, hygiene and health, subcontracts, temporary services and any other  matter related to employer and employee legal relationship.

REAL ESTATE

In the area of real estate, we have participated in construction projects of condominiums, land plotting and development of social housing, starting from their planning, financing, construction approval, construction, reception, sale and post-sale services.

In this area, which has recently become popular within companies in Chile, we constantly advise leaders in today’s market on subjects such as private security, hygiene and sanitary, maintenance, installations, environmental, sanitary, backup services, in house training, facility services and facility management.
